Cecilia was supposed to be a June newborn, but she arrived about 3 weeks early. She was the sweetest tiny peanut! She also was a smiley little one!!! She had given me so many little smirks and grins! While editing, I gave her the nickname of “Smiley Cecilia” because I couldn’t get over how many smiley images I had to work with! She did have some opinions on poses where her back was more arched, but she LOVED having her feet up close to her face. She did such a great job and I just love how her session came out.
I have to admit that Owen was probably one of the more difficult newborn sessions that I had in a while. He was a little stinker for me and was not so into posing for his session. He was also quite skilled in pooping! However, with challenges aside, Owen is quite the cutie! He is a handsome little guy with auburn hair and really great skin! He also makes some great eye contact! While we had to work hard for the session, but the payoff was worth it. He gave me some of my recent favorite images! I would say this session was definitely worth it!
Mary was another May newborn that arrived a little early. She was super sweet and did a great job for her session! Her big sister Madeline was so proud and did a great job of listening to what she needed to do. I love that her mommy wanted blue shades along with peach for her session. I don’t get too many requests for blues for girls, but since it’s one of my personal favorite colors, I was quite happy with that choice!
I don’t know what was going on about 10 months ago, but May is all about newborns! In fact, it was the first month of 2017 to be fully booked at the beginning of the year! Can we say baby boom? We kicked things off this month with Khloe, who actually decided to arrive 3 weeks early. She technically arrived late April, but her session was still in May. She was such a sweet little peanut and had the most dainty little features! She had a few opinions about some of the poses, but really did a great job. I love her mommy’s choice of peach and minty shades with some cream and gray.
Oh, and I know it doesn’t match the rest of her session, but I couldn’t resist adding lilacs into her session since they were blooming!
Sweet little Eloise came up to the studio a couple weeks ago for her newborn session. She was a little feisty one, but oh so cute! She had opinions on some of the poses we did and wiggled out of each pose on the beanbag more than once! I find that the little ones are often surprisingly strong! She had a little awake time where she was very alert yet calm and gave me some of the cutest expressions!
