This little lady was born a whole month before her due date!  Layla came up to the studio as tiny little peanut and she did spectacularly for her session.  Usually early babies are nice deep sleepers and Layla didn’t disappoint!  She slept most of the session and posed beautifully. Her mommy wanted soft pinks and creams for her session and I was happy to oblige!  I always love to style a girly session!

I’m also trying something a little new for showing off this session.  Trying my hand at smaller collages instead of one large one.

I met Drake earlier this year for his newborn session.  I remember him being a tiny and slightly feisty!  Now he is sitting up and almost ready to crawl! I think he was a bit unsure of me and the whole idea of a photo shoot, but he is also so very sweet! We worked hard for smiles and I was happy that we got a few adorable grins. He has such a sweet little face and I love the different expressions that I was able to capture.

I love working with families as they grow!  I first met the S family when Jack was born.  It seems like yesterday when I shot his cake smash session (just earlier this year!).  Now Jack is a proud big brother!!!  Baby sister Abigail did wonderfully for her session and she looks so much like her big brother!!!  Her mommy loves a light and creamy palette, but we added in sagey green and lavender (and a touch of peach!) which were the same colors used in her wedding.  I love this idea, and I really love this color combination.

I got to see Emma for her 6 month sitter milestone session!  I met Emma when she was a newborn who had a more minimalist style newborn session.  I still absolutely love that session to this day. Emma is growing up and sitting so well!  She has the most fun little personality and the prettiest blue eyes.  I had so much fun working with her, I didn’t want to stop shooting!
