I normally post all of my Sneak Peeks on both Facebook and Instagram, but Scarlett’s parents stay away from social media. So instead, they get to see their sneak peek on my blog! Scarlett did a great job for her session and I photographed her big brother and sister nearly 3 years ago when they were newborns! I love when I get to see families grow.
Charlotte’s session was a rare squeeze in, which is something that I rarely get a chance to do! I typically fill up with bookings at least a couple months in advance, but I was caught up in editing and had another newborn that was a bit late to arrive. This rare break allowed me to squeeze Miss Charlotte in! I am so glad that I did too! She was just perfect. She slept so well and really went into poses beautifully. This pretty little lady even gave me a couple adorable grins! If you follow my Facebook page, then you may have seen my one and only Facebook Live studio tour that I did before her session. In the video I mentioned that we were doing a session with the colors of pink, yellow and lavender. Once Charlotte arrived, we discussed our set and mom decided she like the yellow beanbag fabric I had under the lavender. Of course, I LOVE yellow, so this made me one happy photographer. So, here is Charlottes pretty pastel pink and yellow session!
When Emma’s mommy filled out her questionnaire, I learned that her home was decorated in gray and white with dark floors and that they are also a fan of black and white images. I imagined a home that is a bit more sleek and modern and that a more minimalist newborn session would be perfect for them! We threw in a bit of gray and also some pops or turquoise and the results are so lovely! The minimalist style really embraces the idea of “less is more”. Less texture, and color so that baby is the full focus of the session. These images also look fantastic in black and white. It has been a while since I have shot in this style, and admit to being a little nervous going into it. However, Emma was great! She had some awake time and a little bit of a fussy moment before I was able to get her into one of the props, but really rocked her beanbag set! She even gave me a couple little grins!
I have worked with sweet little Hannah a few times over the past year. She is always so adorable with her pretty blue eyes and a lot of fun to work with! I first met her as a newborn, where she was a little fussy and we had to stretch her session over 2 days. But she became a little rock star for her 6 month milestone session and for a Sitter Mini Session at around 9 months! Now at 12 months, Hannah was very active, but did a great job. She especially rocked her cake smash session. I just love the bright colors for her cake smash and what a pretty cake!
Michael was a new face that came to see me for his 1 year cake smash session. This handsome little guy with beautiful blue eyes was so cute and a little shy. He wasn’t too sure about his cake, but he still had a lot of fun!
