Finally getting cute little Carson’s session up on the blog!  He was last in a long line of a bit of a baby boom from May/early June. This little guy was so cute!  He had some wiggly moments, but did a great job for his session!  His mommy picked out shades of aqua, teal, and sage green, which I just LOVE!  I am always excited for beachy colors and Carson looked fantastic in them!Detroit Newborn PhotographyPINimage

Samantha was a such a fun little one to work with!  She came into the studio wide awake and ready to party!  It took a little bit to get her into the zone, but she did really great.  She was a little wiggly once we got her on the beanbag, but I was pretty impressed that rocked the froggy pose.  Samantha has pretty skin and lips and sweet fluffy cheeks!  When she was awake, she was very calm and enjoyed checking out her surroundings.  She did such a great job for her newborn session and I really enjoyed my time with her family!

I consider myself lucky when I have two really great cake smash sessions in a row!  Next up is Elle, who I also worked with as a newborn!  Just as I suspected, she came in looking so adorable!  Elle has pretty strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.  She is a spunky gal who likes to move!  She also really likes her cake!  She did so good for her cake smash and you can really see her fun little personality.  I also love the pretty cake her mom brought in!

Aston came up to the studio shortly after his first birthday.  I first met him as a newborn with the most delicious cheeks.  Well, some things never change!  This little cutie still has them!  He was a little unsure of me, but he had so much fun eating and smashing his cake!  He was also a big fan of balloons!  He has the sweetest smile and I am a sucker for his fluffy cheeks and blue eyes.

I first met the R family when I photographed Zackery as a newborn.  In fact, he was my very fist newborn session in my current studio space!  I remember him being a great sleeper and his newborn session was definitely a favorite!  He had a fantastic head of dark hair at that time.  Imagine how surprised I was when this cute BLONDE little guy walked into my studio!!!!  I don’t think I have ever seen such a drastic change like that before! Baby brother Andrew continued in the family tradition of being a great newborn to work with!  His session also produced a lot of favorite images!  It is so fun when I get to work with a newborn and compare that baby with their older sibling.  These guys definitely have their own features, but you can still see their resemblance.
