I first met Vinny for his newborn session. I remember that he was a sweet little guy! Now he’s turning one and is just as sweet! We worked hard for smiles, but mostly got little grins. He had a lot of fun with the balloons and really loved making a mess with his cake!
Max kicked off my first session for the very busy month of September. He arrived a bit overdue, but was worth the wait. Such a cute little guy! He started as a strong sleeper, but decided that he wanted to party during the second half of his session. So he came back the next day so that we could finish and get more variety into his session. So glad that he did because I love how it all came together!
Last weekend, Jameson came up to the studio to see me for his Cake Smash Session! I first met him and his family when he was a sweet little newborn, then he came so see me during the Sitter Mini event last spring! He has been a sweetie from the beginning and I have been obsessed with his pretty blue eyes and his adorable expressions! The session is also bittersweet because his family just moved back to Atlanta. I tend to get a bit attached to most of “my” families and hate to see this one go!
It is always an honor (and admittedly a bit nerve wracking!) when another photographer chooses you to be their newborn photographer! Beth is the talent behind Sunbeam Photography. She specializes in newborns, babies and kids and I especially love her Fresh 48 sessions! I met her on a local Facebook group for local female photographers and got to meet her in person when she came out to my studio to assist me with a newborn session. One fun thing about working with another newborn photographer is that Beth let me know that she loves vintage quilts (a true newborn photographer’s favorite prop!). So, I built Naomi’s session around my favorite quilt piece which is a white/cream base with various colors. All of Naomi’s session is styled in cream with splashes of pastel color. Of course I have to brag on Naomi who rocked her session! She slept pretty much the whole time, which I am sure made her mommy proud!! She is also so pretty and gave me a few adorable grins! Beth later told me that coming out to my studio for Naomi’s session was a bit like Disneyland. I will gladly take that compliment!
I first met the R Family just shy of 3 years ago when Jaya was a newborn. Her session was interesting because it was in the time that I was between studio spaces and was my last session before moving into my current space! I got to see Jaya again last fall for her Holiday Mini where she announced she was becoming a big sister! Now, they are back with the newest addition to the family! Maxton is one adorable little guy! I was completely taken with him and obsessed with his amazing lashes!
