This session comes in two parts. We had originally scheduled a session on Memorial Day weekend, and wouldn’t you know it, it started to rain. The weatherman even said that even though it was cloudy, we should not actually get rain…. He was wrong. So, we took cover and waited until it was clear….then it rained again….on poor Leona and her parents who were picture ready. So, we had to reschedule. But, in the little time that it we had, we got some really cute photos of this adorable little Strawberry Blonde!
I do have to say that I love how this first set came out. Something about that dark overcast sky gave me rich color and an intersting mood.

Then we finally got a chance to make up the rest of the session. Different location and lighting, but I love these just as much!
Pinspired from Pinterest. Leona’s mom shared this idea with me. Isn’t it cute?

Then we got in some family shots that we weren’t able to get in during the first session. Love the way this family dressed. Took a neutral color pallet and really made it work without being too matchy.

Then we moved on to the fun part! The Cake Smash!!!! Leona ROCKED her cake smash too! Isn’t her little outfit adorable. I wish I could take credit for Leona’s styling, but that honor goes to her mom. Didn’t she do a GREAT job???
Happy Birthday Leona!!!!!!
