Paul {14 Days New} | Downriver Newborn Photographer

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to work with this sweet little guy.  Mr Paul was so very snuggly and sweet.  He also had the most gorgeous newborn skin!  No jaundice or red, just sweet little newborn perfection.

I just love this eye contact I got from Paul.  He looks like he had something to say to me!

More newborn Paul cuteness!!!

New Product Alert! Introducing the Gallery Mount | Metro Detroit Photographer

It’s always so much fun to get a new product in!  May I present to you the Gallery Mount….

I have it shown here as an 8×16 storyboard, but it is available in many other standard photo sizes. So what is a Gallery Mount you ask?  It is a photographic print that is mounted onto lightweight MDF and sealed.  The photograph goes flush to the edge and sealed and finished in a bevel.  The bevel can come in black or white (shown).  It gives a very classic high end look while eliminating the need for a frame.  It can be hung or presented on a table or desk with an easel.

I just love the beveled edges!!!

Here is the back, ready to be hung!

Since this is a storyboard, I thought it would be a great idea to compare it to my standard storyboard that is available in the Canvas, Album, and Everything package collections.

As you can see, the standard storyboard is thinner (and great for framing!), or also displayed in an easel.

The 8×16 Gallery  Mount Storyboard can be purchased on it’s own for $90, or can be substituted over the standard storyboad  available in the package collections* for an additional $25.  Additional sizes and prices coming very soon!

Oh, see that cute newborn gracing the gallery mount storyboard?  Be on the lookout for his blog post coming soon!!!

*Standard Storyboards are available in the Album, Canvas, and Everything package collections.

Malena {6 months old} | St Clair County Baby Photographer

I was very excited when I got an email from Malena’s mom  asking to schedule a 6 month session.  I first met Malena as a newborn.  She was just over that 10 day window when newborns are most easily photographed.  She did prove to be a bit of a challenge to pose, but she gave me some of the best eye contact and expressions.  You can see some of  newborn Malena here.   Now Malena is 6 months old, and she was an absolute joy to work with!!!!

I had one heck of a time narrowing this gallery down.  Even picking a favorite was hard!  I have to say this particular image makes me smile from ear to ear. I told you this baby girl is seriously adorable!

Love this too!

More of this six month old sweetie!

Natalie {7 months old} | Clinton Township Baby Photographer

I got to hang out with Natalie again!  I first met her for a session a couple months ago, just before Christmas.  One of my favorite shots from last year is one of her with a quilt that her Grandmother made and you can see it here.   Natalie’s mom makes sure that a quilt is incorporated into every shoot.  I love this idea as it really provides special and uniquely personal images.  Since this was a February session, this quilt paid homage to Valentines Day! PS- Aren’t her little shorts adorable?

When I arrived for Natalie’s session, I found out she wasn’t feeling her best that day.  But seriously, you would NEVER have guessed.  This baby girl is such a trooper and honestly ROCKED her session!  I have to say that there are quite a few new favorites here!

Like this one!!!! Oh. My. GOODNESS!!!!!  Baby bums are the cutest!!!

This one too…those eyes!

More from Natalie’s session…
