Hosking Kids Fun! | Macomb County Family Photographer

OK, now that I know that everyone has gotten a Holiday card from me I think it’s safe to share a little mini session I did with my own two rugrats way back in October.  It was a bit last minute (as in hey, no session this Sunday, lets go to the orchard and I will take pics of the kids while we’re there!).  It was a GORGEOUS and warm fall day.  The kids were a bit antsy after the car ride, and Addie was  being a bit of a monkey for me.  But I got a few good shots….especially of my boy, Aidan (who is usually not into having his photo taken at all!).

All I asked is for one good shot of them together, and I just adore this one.  I’m actually trying to decide if I want to do this one in a canvas or a large scrolly wooden frame.  Also, notice how grown up my Aidan looks!  *sigh*

This was the shot I set out to get for Holiday cards.

My little lovey dovey Addison.

And my sweet and handsome little man!

The rest!

Thanks Lisa! She certainly is a ham!!!! I told her to put her hands on her hips for a pose once when I was taking her photo earlier this summer. Now she automatically does it when she see’s me with the camera!

Natalie {almost 5 months} | Clinton Township Baby Photographer

A couple weeks ago I got to meet a great family and totally adorable baby girl.  Natalie is almost 5 months old and just a sweet and happy little doll baby!  Very content and full of smiles!  As a photographer, I certainly couldn’t ask for anything more!  She is a very loved baby girl and I have a feeling the W family will be having a wonderful first Christmas as a family of three.

I love this photo.  What I love even more is that Natalie’s Grandmother made the quilts. Her mother has made it a point to include one of the Grandmothers quilts into every photo session that Natalie has had thus far.  A very cool way to make a shoot personal and unique!

Love!

While baby smiles are awesome, I love serious, soulful faces too.  I mean seriously, isn’t she a little beauty?

More from Natalie’s session!

Jonah {6 days new} | Berkley Michigan Newborn Photographer

This little 5 pounder was such a dream to work with!  I admit that I took a LOT of photos!  With a baby that is so cute and such a good little sleeper, how could I not?  The fact that he is absolutely adorable certainly had something to do with it too!  His parents are so loving and his mom is absolutely gorgeous!  A pleasure to work with all around!

It’s always such a highlight when I can capture a little newborn smile.  How can you not love a little smile like this?

And while I know I’m done with having babies of my own, the sweetness here almost makes me say one more…almost.

This one too! Look at those lips! *swoon!*

And (of course) more favorites!

Brandon {6 months} | Downriver Baby Photographer

A few weeks ago I got to spend a morning with this adorable baby boy.  It’s hard to believe that it was only 6 months ago that I shot his newborn session.  Just as I suspected, Brandon has grown into one seriously adorable baby boy!  Poor little baby was teething and didn’t sleep well the night before.  So, his happy moments were few, but I just LOVE the moments I captured.

I just love 6 month olds.  They just embody babyness (why yes, I did make up that word!) .  They can be perfectly content to make cute baby noises and play with their feet.

He also has the most amazingly LONG lashes!  I just couldn’t stop gushing over them!  I mean, seriously!!!!!

[...] bit of a tough cookie for his last two sessions. He was having a hard time with teething during his 6 month session, and this time he just wasn’t feeling like hanging out on my backdrop.  I can’t say I [...]
